It contains hundreds of contacts for Stage, TV, Film and Radio, i.e. casting directors, agents, theatres, technical and behind-the-scenes, producers and production companies, etc. Approx. £12.50 to buy.
'Spotlight' - the most famous casting directory. Basically you can have a photo and brief biography/cv entered into a category i.e. young actors, which will be published on line and in hard copy. Casting directors/other relevant parties can look up their ideal person for the job and may invite you to an audition or casting. Bit of a 'shot in the dark' but helps towards your professional image to put a link or reference to the page number regarding your Spotlight entry. Some agents insist on subscription to Spotlight.
